History : This car was built by Porsche of Germany as a Porsche 911 turbo "S" to run in a new race series created by IMSA called the " Supercar Championship Series " This series was raced from 1991-1993 and dominated by the Porsche 911 turbo "S2". Porsche won the championship all three years. owned by John Wood Porsche. The car was raced as the Fuji Film car in the first Supercar race then later to be known as the Wonderbread sponsored "Spot" car. The car was sold to Champion Porsche in 1993 to be raced in IMSA’s GTO class in 1994. Porsche developed this 964 based car with a 3.6ltr single turbo motor. This particular car was updated in 1993 with a special 962 type motor built as a "one off" by Porsche Motorsports. There are only two of these motors in existence. One is in this car, the other is behind closed doors at Porsche Motorsports. Other improvements consisted of special suspension, larger brakes, EFI computerized ignition, stacked dash and extending the wheel arches to accommodate more rubber as well as several other proprietary improvements. Champion Porsche used Mike Colucci Racing to help make the car competitive in this new racing series. The car was updated staying within the lines of all the IMSA rules for that class. This allowed the team to update the car with all new GT2 evolution pieces. Champion Porsche campaigned this car as the Aquamoc car and later became know as the "HH Brown" car. Champion Porsche commissioned a local south Florida artist, Dave Schnor to come up with eye catching graphics During the four years Champion Porsche campaigned the car, there was serious development with many races and hours on the track. Drivers like Derek Bell, Hans Stuck, Brian Redman, David Murry, Bill Adam, Arie Luyendyk, Scott Goodyear all had driving input to help improve the car. The car was very successful The car was sold to Ed Davies in 1996 and raced very competitively during the 1997 season as the #45 "Fantasy of Flight" car.
